PC_q2_BC01_Journal "Distilled Sabotage"

Quest description:
Antonius Medericus wants you to steal the business ledger from Lacorius Distillery. Apparently, Lady Sigorn is aware that Medericus is planning something, and has been much more suspicious of people entering and exiting the Distillery. Therefore, you must enter through the Cistern, once you're inside the Distillery, the first time you're seen by anyone inside, you've failed the quest. Antonius has a spy in Thresvy he's paying for info, and that spy will give you a basic run down of what doors to avoid, etc. Once you have the Business Ledger, go to the spy and give them the ledger, they'll give you your reward, and tell you that they'll put back a forged version (would be cool if you make said forged version with a disable/enable script that enables once this part of the quest is complete, but it's not strictly necessary).


You will need to create the spy NPC for this quest, as well as the forged business ledger if you decide to make it. The quest paths are as followed:

1. Steal the business ledger, bring it to the spy. Spy will disable in a day or so.
2. Steal the business ledger BUT - you were caught sneaking around. Bring it to the spy and get a much smaller reward. Spy will disable in a day or so.

Additional notes:
The latest rumor relating to the quest is already implemented. Please make sure to add a journal condition to it in order for it to stop appearing once the player finishes the quest (feel free to add an additional rumor if you want about it, maybe in Thresvy instead, but any additional latest rumor dialogue is entirely optional and should only be added if you feel that it significantly enhances the experience. Sometimes less is more).
"I hear Antonius Medericus and Lady Sigorn Lacorius of Thresvy hate each other. They are competition, owning the 2 biggest Aliyew distilleries in the Gold Coast, but the way they're feuding -- I wouldn't put it past either one of them to sabotage the other."
(Antonius points out the spy when you get the quest, and points you in his or her direction to go to them first, but the player can skip that part if they just want to go to through it blindly. While you do "fail" the quest if seen, you can still complete it by giving the business ledger to the spy. There should be 2 additional rumors in Thresvy, imo, that can be gotten after you've completed the quest, depending on how you complete it (they should all check for different journal entries but have the same Random100). One for the Distillery having trouble verifying past dealings, one for Sigorn upping security after a thief was discovered trying to tamper with the evidence (rip spy). The former only firing if you succeeded in the quest, the latter only firing if you "failed" the quest.)

The quest is ready for review. I playtested this in vanilla and everything seems to be working fine. I would appreciate it if someone could check this in OpenMW too.

Notes:

- I made a forged version of the ledger and scripted it to appear where the original one was.

- If Lady Sigorn sees the player, she calls a guard who immediately starts combat. Figured that getting caught and having no other consequences besides a smaller reward didn't make sense. The bosmer will also call a guard if he spots the player, but gives a warning first.

- Added a guard by the cistern entrance who is enabled after the quest if the player was seen in the distillery.

- Added a journal condition to stop the player from getting the rumor in Brina Cross after the quest is completed. Also added a filter to prevent Antonius from giving the rumor, since he would be talking about himself in third person and I couldn't come up with a better line for him.

- The quest can be completed if the spy dies by giving the ledger to Antonius.

- Added two local rumors in Thresvy commenting on the (un)succesful end of the quest.

Also posting two bugs I found here so they won't get lost under all the SHOTN reports in discord:

- T_BkGen_BusinessLedger_02 has a typo: "financtial transactions"

- The door out of the Blind Watchtower Inn to Thresvy doesn't work. You can get in but you can't leave.

Added a line in latest rumors reacting to the player siding with Sigorn. Also added a filter to block the three quest related rumors from firing if Sigorn is dead.

Another update: The player can now tell Sigorn about Antonius' plan even if they declined to help him and the quest is marked as finished. Added an extra guard by the ledger in that case.

Final (?) version ready.

- Changed uniquely named variables in scripts whenever possible for consistency.
- Fixed Journal not updating when Sigorn dies if the quest has been completed.
- Unchecked auto-calculate for Kassar.
