Broken Fang Goblin Tribe questline proposal

Important characters (AKA Named Goblins):

Broken Fang chieftain - Hurutka (questgiver)
Wave-Reaver chieftain - Vutur
Bitterfish chieftain - Aamgre
Broken Fang shaman - Gurtem
Wave-Reaver up-and-coming chieftain - Utui
Goblin researcher - Owaina Tetha

Broken Fang HQ - Gula Cave
Wave-Reaver HQ - Vabriesel
Bitterfish HQ - somewhere in Dasek Mire, this would be the only one not found in the Anvil release, and irrelevant for the purposes of the questline in Anvil, as it only matters for an optional unmarked epilogue.

Entering Gula for the first time:

You'll find two Goblins outside of Gula Cave guarding it. If you get close enough to them, they'll forcegreet you and ask you a question or two. Answer them, and they allow you to go in and speak to the chieftain in peace - warning you that drawing your weapons will be considered an act of aggression towards the tribe. So keep your weapon sheathed while inside the cave, and the goblins inside will be non-hostile. Use GetWeaponDrawn to check if the player currently has their weapon drawn. Something akin to GetWeaponDrawn -> SetFight 100, if not, SetFight 0.

Quest 1 - Treasures Fit For A Goblin

Description:
Hurutka explains that the shaman of the tribe - Gurtem - is after a magical weapon (Ayleid unique weapon) that he believes is in the Ayleid Ruins of Gulaida. Hurutka sent out some Goblin Scouts a few days ago, and would be most thankful for you if you were to go retrieve it for them. If you agree, he will give you an option of a goblin shaman or berserker to accompany you. Head over and meet your goblin companion at the entrance. Go through the dungeon, find the weapon, and return it. Your goblin companion will meet you back at Gula when you leave the ruin, if they survived. If you choose to keep the weapon, Hurutka will tell you that you are no longer welcome, and the next time you enter Gula - they will be hostile, and the questline ends.

quest outline:
1) Speak to Hurutka and accept the quest.
2) Choose your ally.
3) Meet your ally and head into the ruins.
4) (OPTIONAL) find the corpses of the Broken Fang scouts.
5) Retrieve the weapon & return to Gula.
6) Either give the weapon to Hurutka or keep it. If you give it, the rewards will be based on the following:
If you give him the item: A gemstone
If you give him the item & your companion survived: Two gemstones
If you give him the item, your companion survived, AND if you found the bodies: A unique goblin shield.

Quest 2 - A Bitter Encroachment

Description:
Now that you are considered an ally to the Broken Fang, you no longer need to keep your weapon sheathed in Gula Cave. However. there is a problem. The Bitterfish Tribe has been encroaching further and further into Broken Fang territory, setting themselves up in Buralca. Hurutka would like you to go and clear the Bitterfish cave out. It would be easier for a non-goblin to take them on, as if the Broken Fang did it, it could insight a goblin war between Broken Fang and Bitterfish, which Broken Fang would not win based on the numbers disparity. While in there, you discover a crudely drawn map which is impossible to read for you, but is something Hurutka would probably be interested in. Give the map to Hurutka and he'll ask you to give him a day before returning so that Gurtem has some time to decipher it, as it appears to be an old Golden Fang script mostly lost to time.

quest outline:
1) Speak to Hurutka
2) Clear out the Buralca
3) Return to Hurutka and hand him the map.
4) Wait a day and return for your reward.

Quest 3 - On the Reave of Goblins

Description:
Gurtem has deciphered what he could, and has discovered that the Bitterfish were looking for the Agenchegel - a Golden Fang relic that was passed down from chieftain to chieftain, but was lost when the tribe was destroyed. Hurutka explains that Broken Fang, Bitterfish, and Wave-Reavers are all remnants of the survivors of that tribe, and have been in a vicious feud ever since. With Agenchegel in hand, Hurutka can declare himself the chief of all Golden Fang remnants. Apparently, the Bitterfish was in the area looking for the staff, but they believed it had already been found by another remnant tribe. The Broken Fang doesn't have it, and the Bitterfish obviously doesn't have it (or else they wouldn't be looking for it), so it must have been found by the Wave-Reavers.

No one knows where the Wave-Reavers' chieftain is, aside from that they make their camps in caves throughout the Abecean Isles around Stirk. Hurutka asks you to find them, and kill the chieftain for the Agenchegel. Asking around in Charach, you'll find a researcher named Owaina Tetha, who's recently been looking for the Wave-Reavers until recently. Talk to her, and she'll reveal that she entered one cave on Stirk with a friend, but barely managed to escape with her own life. If you go into the cave and find the remains of her friend - return an heirloom to her. If you do that, she'll give you her research notes, which will tell you what you need to know about Vutur and where he most likely will be hiding. Go to Vabriesel on the White Reef Isles, kill Vutur, and return the Agenchegel to Hurutka. However, Hurutka can not simply ask you for it, as you've earned the Agenchegel in combat. By tradition, Hurutka must defeat the one who bears it in combat, as you did with Vutur. He asks you to prepare for a duel. Talk to him again to begin the duel.

quest outline:
1)Speak to Hurutka
2)Ask around in Charach, in which you'll be directed to Owaina.
3)Find the heirloom for Owaina, and exchange it for her notes on the Golden Fang remnants.
4)Go to the Vabriesel and kill Vutur.
5)Return to Gula and speak to Hurutka.

Quest 4 - Duel of the Golden Fang

Description:
Upon speaking to him again, he will insist that no one may intervene on the fight (Companions turned off), and that while this is not a fight to the death, there may be no punishment for this honorable combat. Leaving the interior cell by any means will be considered a forfeit. Defeat him in combat. If you kill him, Gurtem will tell you the good news, and that you have succeeded Hurutka as their chief. If you get him below a certain health threshold, he will admit defeat and declare you his successor. As the new chieftain, all Broken Fang goblin locations will be non-hostile to you. You may kill him after he surrenders, which, while aggrevated, the Broken Fang tribe won't attack you for, as you became the chief as soon as you won the match.

quest outline:
1)Speak to Hurutka to initiate the duel.
2)Defeat Hurutka in one on one combat.

Unmarked epilogues

Description:
While you are now the chief of the Broken Fang, and have the right to rule both the Wave-Reavers and Bitterfish, neither Wave-Reavers nor the Bitterfish has recognized you as their chieftain yet. However, if you speak to Gurtem or Hurutka, they will explain that the Wave-Reavers most likely have named a new chieftain. It is within your right and duty to make them submit to you.

Return to Vabriesel on White Reef, find chieftain Utui, and speak to him. He will submit to you easily, as you killed his predecessor and claimed the Agenchegel. Once you do so, the Wave-Reaver goblin caves will become non-hostile.

(KVATCH RELEASE ONLY) Find Aamgre and make him submit through force.

Reason: removed a redundant "not" from the epilogue
