Markarth: Commoner home (Sky_iRe_Mk05) [Moyglass][Reviewed]

Post by roerich »

Home of a Nord commoner and his Breton wife. They have a female Reachman servant living in the basement.

T_Nor_FurnM & T_Imp_FurnSky

Location number 5 on Markarth claim map 2:

The exterior can be found here (use the latest file)

Polemicist (Beyond Skyrim Illiac Bay level design lead) is going to do this as an interior showcase

Claiming. Not sure where the building is. The map seems to be out of date with the latest version of Markarth

Clean: yes
Lighting: reduced ambient values and added fog
Northmarker: present, incorrect
Fits exterior: yes
Pathgrid: yes, added more nodes
Illegal to sleep here: yes

Note: use floors not stories for ceilings, since the latter blocks visibility on the minimap

Floaters/bleeders:
- Dreamcatcher_04 floating out from wall
- DrinkingHorn_01 bleeding slightly into hook
- Tapestry_07 bleeding slightly with roof x2
- RugBig19 floating slightly
- Cb1Empty/Plate/Utensil floating out from wall
- Cr8Pillow bleeding into crate below
- Furs_02 floating
- Weavingframe_03 bleeding into bowl
- Cr9Dri bleeding with sack and floor
- Window_02b floating out from wall

Misc:
- Tapestry_11 facing wrong way (multiple)
- misc_de_bellows10 not appropriate in SHOTN
- Several walls were not connected at one or both ends - planks are not sufficient to cover both sides of a wall
- Lava_blacksquares weren't covering everything
- Used SetMarkarth doorway instead of Doorframe_06
- Lanterns sitting too high on hooks
- Fireplace too far out from wall

Really like the architecture on this place -- felt very cosy. Objects were also rotated very well, so good job there. Just check your walls to make sure they're not sticking out unconnected.
