Maybe applying the 4GB patch on the CS.exe will fix the issue:

It indeed crashes for me, too.
I have looked through the list of the used objects to get an idea of what may cause the problem, but the only thing I can see is that there are just very many objects. But I have dealt with caves of 2000+ references before, so I don't quite understand what's the difference this time. Tes96 already reported crashes with that cave, by the way.
It could be caused by a certain model. You could try to delete some of the objects used in the cave in a copy of the esp-file and look when it stops to crash. Not sure whatelse could be tried.

The lighting settings of this cave should be changed, so it is more consistent with the lighting of other caves. Dark caves are good, but this one is a bit too dark.
