Re: Jiub's Projects

this looks fantastic. Please don't forget to upload them, when you're done. It would be a big loss not to see used in our exterior work one day. :D

Re: Jiub's Projects

Yes, it looks great. I wanted to write that earlier, but I feel odd for just writing praise without anything further. To be very nitpicky, I think you could blurry the straight white line on the sutch banner a little bit to make them visually submerge with the canvas a bit. But other than that reall...

Re: Direnni Clutter

I like your objects anyway and I hope you don't get my feedback the wrong way. I even think that it can be better, under circumstances, to disregard those uv-issues, if you feel that you are bogging down and a lot of fun and creativity goes lost about it. In the end those details won't matter that m...

Re: PC_Ayl_Guard [Worsas]

What do you mean by "finer lines"? I must say I'd rather see the opposite to achieve a more blurry ghost-y look and feel. With finer lines I meant the fumes seen in the concept. I cannot really replicate the plasma substance as it is seen on the concept picture (with the limited possibili...

Re: PC_Ayl_Guard [Unclaimed]

I'll see, if I can make a worthy implementation of the above concept. At least, I have started to get a hang of sculpting in the new blender (also thanks to a hint by SGMonkey) as you can see on the below screenshot. For the final model, I intend to utilize additional alpha planes to add finer lines...

Re: PC_Ex_Imp_?, PC_In_Imp_?[Worsas]

There were a number of issues with the custom models from the modder resource (material color, texture assignment, uv mapping). I have taken care of the worst. Only the odd church windows remain unchanged. We should probably remove the church windows from the Data Files altogether. Other than that A...

Re: PC_Ex_ImpRuin_?, PC_In_ImpRuin_?[Worsas]

I used this review to fix the uv-mapping alignment on the arches of the hallway tiles so they would follow their bended shape and make the construction appear slightly more plausible. This hadn't been a big issue with the skyrim-version, but it would have been rather annoying to look at with the dif...

I'm not sure if there is any Sami influence similar to seen on Sirrahs linked photos. I only know that they have influenced our Colovian garment at P:C. Re: The Reach - Western Grasslands #02 [berry]

I have loaded the ref.esp, your current file and your previous claim together to get an impression of it all. You really succeeded in making the whole area much more subdivided and filled with smaller and bigger points of interest. It feels much truer to the vanilla game now. What I like most is how...

Re: Possible new architecture style

Hmm.. to be honest, I'm not sure where these houses would be of use for the project, at the moment. At most I could see them work for Highrock or even Haafingar, after the bulkiness of the roof and window frames has been worked on. Also the textures are extremely dark, but you are probably aware of ...

Re: PC_A_Ayleid_?[Mwgek]

I think you mean something similar to this quick mock-up: Not exactly what I meant. Due to the solid mesh element the feathers on your example look very clotted and the alpha feathers above it are still single feathers. What you would do to achieve the effect I've been imagining is putting your one...

Re: PC_A_Ayleid_?[Mwgek]

I have had a thought on this claim for a longer time. It is about the bushiness of the feather attachment seen on the concept art. I think that you could reproduce it better by using a larger texture that already contains the feathers in a bushy composition, a bit similar to how it is on a grass tex...

Re: Claims from the Old Forum

A simple request, when naming claims, can we start inserting either "Interior" or "cave" into the naming scheme, like what we do over at SHotN? That's very helpful when looking for certain types of claims. For example, mine would read: "Gold Coast Interior Claim PC_i2-15_Ca...

I'll claim this for now to extend on my previous work on the imperial ruins. The wall work of these will be a bit newer and cleaner, but they will use the same stone color for the bricks that the imperial ruins, so they can be mixed, if desired.

Re: Needed Assets for Skyrim

I don't know much of 3DS-Max. But from looking at your files I can tell that you're trying to do something (opacity map) the MW engine does not support. The alpha needs to be together with the color texture in one dds-file. The NiAlphaProperty takes care of the rest. You can edit the alpha testing t...

The slightly mediterrain climate makes sense, if you consider that this is supposed to be the mostsouthern peak of Highrock, the area surrounding Daggerfall. Re: Markarth: House Interior #01

I like this interior a lot. But I'm afraid that there are issues involved with having the grate doors right next to each other or next to other grates. They need to be surrounded by solid wall, because they shift sidewards into the wall, when activated.

Re: Paid Mods for Skyrim

In one way I think it is great that people working on massive, effort-consuming projects have the option of earning themselves something. But I can also see this leading to a big range of commercial offers that either don't keep what they promise or overshadow the free mods in the long run, if the c...
