Re: Cyrodiil Creatures
I like Rubicators, you're right that we should differentiate them from the Nordic dragons. A couple of ideas for more arcane denizens along the lines of minotaurs and spriggans: Rusalka : Nymph-like spirit native to the Niben River. According to legend, when Alessia was bathing in the river one day,...

Re: Infragris' Workshop
Got bored today, made a little doodle for a Hermaeus Mora shrine. I don't know how readable this picture is, sorry. Sort of kind of based on depictions of Ganesha . For the Daedra statues, I'd like to get away from the classical standing pose that the other statues all use. I picture them as old, b...

Not specifically a P:C concept, but it's of the right flavor.

Indulcet - Moon sugar mixed with brandy - a legal sleight of hand which allows it to be sold openly within the Empire. Cool, I'll be excited to see what you come up with R-Zero
As far as naming conventions go, I've been playing around with Hrafnir's languages and rather than "minotaur lord", what about trebataur, or battle-bull?

http://i.imgur.com/SQ4pZGk.png Updated Minotaur and possible direction for the Minotaur lord - not really sure I like it, the fact that the textures are mirrored on both sides makes the scarring look more ritualistic versus battle-hardened. I'm curious to hear peoples' thoughts. Had a blast of insp...

To be honest, I'm not sure this design works - because the chain is offset to the left, the chair would hang at an angle. It either needs to have a second chain supporting the other side, or else the chain needs to hang in the middle.

I have a proposal that I want to make now, before we unlock interiors and start serious work on quest and dialogue design: http://i.imgur.com/x3B3nvq.jpg The ones marked red are all buildings that I think we can live without - several of them don't even have a function yet, and some feel like they'v...

Not at all worsas :) I always appreciate critiques, especially because I agree with you that it's far from ideal when stuff has to be redone. I would rather know what everyone thinks and get something that we can all agree on, than have everyone say it's great and then 6mo later realize it's a train...

What about this?
You're only going to get so much detail out of stucco from a distance, otherwise it's going to look really rough and noisy at close range, but I did add the brick elements back to the white stucco areas.

I started this little project a while ago- one of many I never finished lol. Overhauling the gravestones that are currently in PC:Data, the current ones don't have much depth or realism to them and don't feel too connected to Imperial culture for the most part. I've drawn some reliefs in the Chapel ...

Re: Infragris' Workshop
Ted, the problem with that is that these statues aren't necessarily going to be used in only one spot so they need to be universal to some extent. Infragris, I'd considered it but ultimately decided against it because the marble look is, pardon the pun, somewhat set in stone. I always try to keep my...

Re: Infragris' Workshop
Question for ya - Up til now, I've been going with a very traditional Greek "white marble" look for the Divines statues, which given that the subjects are very Greco-Roman looking themselves, isn't quite sitting right with me. It also doesn't gel with the only vanilla instance of Imperial ...

I found this on my dropbox, pretty sure I retextured this from one of the MJY resource packs, is it something that would be useful for our purposes? I could see it having some high end loot displayed on it, maybe?

The only thing I've noticed is that her left knee needs to be brought forward since she's standing on her toes on that foot - right now, the effect is that her left leg is shorter than the right:

Re: Asset: Ayleid Furniture
We could go with both, to be honest. Ayleid architecture has so much vertical space available that we could play with the medieval concept of the High Table - the city-state's Sorcerer-King and his/her guests of honor literally sit above everyone at tables and chairs suspended by chains, while the g...

Re: Common Plants and Ingredients
We already have olive trees in data and a concept for an olive oil bottle, so having harvestable olives is a no-brainer. I would definitely take chili peppers (maybe rework these into the fruit of the Dragon's Tongue plant?) over black pepper for exactly that word you used - "Traditional"....

I've never posted on this subject because I don't want to create more work around here, but if we're discussing this anyway, I personally see a mix of Mediterranean and New World crops for Colovian agriculture (give or take any fancy names we give them): Food Crops ===== Olives Grapes Apples Cherrie...
