Cyrodiilic History and Customs - The Second Empire
One of many small information pamphlets spread by the Imperial Geographical Society, for the betterment of the common folk. Inexpensive, common book. Based on a sidebar from the PGE I. Cyrodiilic History and Customs - The Second Empire --- Promulgated under the Authority of the Imperial Geographical...

The Pocket Guide to the Empire, First Edition
The famous First Edition of the Pocket Guide to the Empire, published during the early reign of Tiber Septim. After some consideration, I decided to cut down the text to just the part about Cyrodiil, as this is the most important to us. Otherwise, this supposedly small information pamphlet would be ...

Re: Morrowind Concept Art Helms
That looks really good. It's using the vanilla textures right now, yes? I think it makes sense to keep it that way. It would be fun to expand the normal iron, steel and chainmail sets with customized helmets and such, to mirror the House-affiliated Bonemold variants.

Inspirational texts
Generic thread for third-party texts and fanworks. There are two types of people who are called heroes - one is called so justly, the other falsely. The word “hero” comes originally from the Aldmeri “ല്ലാത” whose meaning means most closely “son of god” or “godlike” [note: “first irreversible degrada...

Re: Project Island Hopper
The Men-of-Keptu seem to have some relation to Morihaus, Alessia's Bull-Man consort. Infragris can tell you more about that whole deal. They appear to be a martial people, with many fortresses. They are obsessed with drawing bulls, though no cattle exists on the island. Afraid there's not too much ...

This mod in any case, all will be put together with TR. I'm not sure what you mean by this. We strive for maximum compatibility with the other province mods in terms of borders and resources, and are investigating the possibility of border-crossing quests and dialogue. However, the province mods wi...

Re: My suggestions for fractions quests
There has already been a lot of discussion on the Legion and Blades on the old forum. More to the point, we would like to avoid any complications arising from connecting our own Blades and Main Quest with the vanilla ones.

Bird themes are a great idea. Westly's Menagerie has some gryphons and the like in it, though we'll have to wait for it to be released if we want to mess with those. Also, that owl-pug is amazing.

THE IMPERIAL CURIA "While these noble titles are of equal value in the eyes of the Law, they are not awarded by virtue of blood or war, but for great and enduring service to the Empire: emblems of merit and duty, not of mere birth. Unlike the old clans and their divisive strife, the Curia is a...

Little work has gone into fleshing out the arena faction(s) and gameplay yet. It will most likely be possible to compete and become an arena champion. There will also a smaller arena in the city of Kvatch, and perhaps even more fighting pits elsewhere in the province.

Thanks for the reminders, I just threw this together based on Oblivion's creature listing. Can't believe just forgot about the Petty Troll and the Carnelian Slug - I made them up in the first place. Cyrodiil creatures from TR
This is part of some text I wrote for TR some time ago, detailing creatures living in Cyrodiil. Putting it down here before I forget about them again. The Troll A large, ape-like monster, prone to lurking in caves and forests across Tamriel. Western breeds are distinguished by a remarkable third eye...

Re: Topic: Cyrodiil-Lore
Updated version: Cyrodiil Lore Though most people think of the Imperials as a unified people, there are in fact two main cultures in Cyrodiil – the Colovians and the Nibenese. Colovians are sober, hardworking folk who live in the western highlands of Cyrodiil, and make up the bulk of the Imperial Le...

Animals (flavor) *Abecean Longfin - passive fish creature, encountered in the Abecean Sea, Strid and Brena Rivers. Considered a delicacy. *Chrysophant - exotic fish native to the Nibenese waters. River traders claim it is a sign of wealth. *Fringed Leaper - common fish found in both sweet and saltw...

Re: Philosophy and Religion in Cyrodiil
Almost definitely. The Imperials are said to worship about a thousand major and minor saints - obviously, that's beyond our ability to portray completely, but the majority of saints and heroes is honored in the Cult of Heroes, which will likely include shrines for the heroes of TES I and II.

Philosophy and Religion in Cyrodiil
The basic philosophy of the Imperials is worldly, materialistic and legalistic. Their worldview is based on two religious suppositions: The world has been designed by the Divines for a single purpose, that being the elevation of man to a higher order (sainthood or divinity). The mortal institutions ...

The Song of Tiber Septim
Parts of a poetic retelling of Tiber Septim's deeds, written during his lifetime. This text was originally part of the PGE I description of Cyrodiil. Should be relatively common, to be found in the houses of religious, pro-Empire people, also in Imperial Legion forts. THE SONG OF TIBER SEPTIM [Excer...

They should normally be agile and fast in water, but note that the current model doesn't have swimming animations (I don't think the Morrowind engine has support for amphibian creatures).

Not sure, but SHotN might have. I was planning to apply this for P:C, once NPC claims leave planning stage. It seems a bit unwieldy to attach a script to almost every NPC, but the alternatives are much worse.

Sloadic architecture seems to consist entirely out of (magically?) shaped coral back on Thras. Most sources on them state that they are incapable of producing their own kinds of art, cannot read or write, and that their slug-like hands are incapable of holding tools. They can, however, order their n...

Re: Armour Sets
It's not just my reasoning: as I said above the new concept was written by Lady N and debated quite a bit on the old P:C forums. Mithril made a reappearance in Oblivion, which is why we'd like to include it in P:C. Problem is, there's next to nothing known about the stuff: what's it made of, where d...
