Re: Common Plants and Ingredients
Cool, have fun :) I made textures for the leaves, stem, and gourd, should be easy to apply to whatever meshes we end up going with. The textures are 256x256 & 256x128. At some point as we update our flora, I'd like to downscale a lot of the textures, 1024x1024 & 512x512 dimensions are pretty...

Looks great, I wonder if tomatoes could somehow be incorporated in a more significant way though?

Re: Common Plants and Ingredients
Per the earlier convo in the Discord, here are 4 options for the Poppad texture (haven't touched the stem yet, and ignore the ugliness of the accursed pumpkin mesh):
What do you think? I'm leaning toward either yellow or white, personally.

Re: Cyrodiil Creatures
I'll post what I have for the minotaur & trebataur - I'm hoping R-Zero would be willing to make the mesh edits for the Morihayn - really we just need the gold ornaments, maybe a different horn shape, and the wings. Would we want the wings to be full 3D, or would a couple of alpha planes on the b...

Oops, added now and removed the lich. The moth-eater is probably going to be best served as a unique enemy class like the Mabrigash, rather than a creature.

Re: Cyrodiil Creatures
It's due fora name change truth be told, I just haven't found anything I like better yet. - when I named it, I had it in my brain that "Ur" was an honorific meaning something like "Great", but it actually means "First/Original", so Adamantine is the Ur-Tower, Nocturnal ...

Re: Cyrodiil Creatures
Thanks :) I spliced my critter into the Coutal concept, and I'm thinking we can introduce them as a livestock originally dometicated by the Kothringi, and later adopted by the other Nedic tribes that became modern Nibenay. Aside from that, a couple of notes: 1) I decided to play tigers straight visu...

Re: Cyrodiil Creatures
Continuing to tweak the model/textures for the Spriggan - I'm leaning toward having her be unique to Colovia, and have some other spirit (nereid, possibly?) fill that niche for Nibenay. Additional concepts will soon be incoming. http://i.imgur.com/kjoLceI.png EDIT: Ingame screenshot: http://i.imgur....

Re: Imperial Tilesets
I'm working on some additional concepts that will better conceptualize the scale of these houses, but generally yes, they're roughly the same size as the Anvil houses. Main difference in terms of footprint will be that they're a little wider and shorter - aside from the towers, the tallest buildings...

Re: Imperial Tilesets
ESO did a horrible job differentiating the Bretons from the Imperials (using basically the exact same visual references that Oblivion used almost a decade prior), so I'm not super concerned about its depiction of High Rock tbh.

Re: Imperial Tilesets
Okay, so here it is - first pic is the individual pieces deconstructed, second pic is an example of something that could be built using these proposed assets. I went for a mix of wood and stone and avoided plaster and those tiled roofs, in order to avoid similarities to the Gold Coast assets. Disreg...

Re: Imperial Tilesets
I'm trying to avoid making it too similar to Anvil - by the time we get to the Highlands, we will have already used that tileset for three major cities (and probably some smaller ones too), and this tileset will get an equal or greater amount of use, so I'm going to trying to switch up the silhouett...

Re: Design Notes: The City of Sutch
Not to be rude, but do we know that the assets are 100% his own work? I ask because in those screenshots I can see some vanilla Oblivion textures (the chapel window being one) and that makes me a little nervous. Otherwise, I agree they look great.

Re: Design Notes: The City of Sutch
Generally, I agree with Infragris, however I think the situation is a little different when the city is explicitly described as having a strong non-Cyrodiilic influence - we can have a main style for each region, but I wouldn't expect Chorrol and Bruma to have the same architecture. I definitely thi...

Re: Design Notes: The City of Sutch
If we can get the appropriate permissions, what are people's thoughts on using Grim's Senchal set as a base for Sutch? http://project-tamriel.com/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=230&p=10007#p10007 They have a nice verticality to them so I think they'd work well with the cliffside/dug in concept of Sutc...

Re: [Faction] The Colo-Nordic Lords
Skingrad and Kvatch both definitely derive from Eastern European/Germanic roots, etymologically (the "-grad" suffix is a Slavic word meaning "town"), and though of course this isn't canon, I did draw from Germanic and Russian words when coming up with the beverage names ("Ku...

Re: [Faction] The Colo-Nordic Lords
I'll tweak them for the Curia - for the Hierophants/Old Nibenese dialect, I'm thinking it'll likely draw more from Spanish/Portuguese roots with splashes of Japanese so that it still sounds Romantic but is a little distant from the straight-up Latin that the modern Empire uses. Can you clarify what ...

Re: Jiub's Projects
They wouldn't be the only ones - the guard gauntlets (T_Imp_GuardTown1_GauntletX_01) have the same naming scheme. Personally, I think we'd be OK to have them as just "Guard Boots", as lame as that sounds, and save ourselves the data bloat.

Thanks Sorry, I don't know where my head was - use this version, it actually includes the portrait meshes as well and a "fixed" version of the portrait_05 asset that has a less recognizable model than Ivan the Terrible.

What are the permissions on the assets? The Senchal building set would be a great base for Sutch with some texture modifications if PO is truly dead.
