Re: Direnni Clutter

Thankyou very much, everyone. Although I doubt that Bethesda would hire me for these models. Today requirements for professional 3D modelling have raised considerably since Oblivion, which is roughly the level of quality I see myself at (sometimes more sometimes less). Still a lot to be learned.

Re: The Reach - Western Grasslands #02 [berry]

Overall around the province, 0.8-1.5 should be the right scale range in regards to trees, with some exceptions possible too of course. Agreed. I think that should work well enough. As for Dragonstar, I was speaking to Roerich on irc (you are anytime welcome to join us on there, btw) and he actually...

I think mechanical would be better. Something like magical elevators or other things utilizing magic for all-day purpose should be reserved for places where mages are at work, like telvanni areas in mw or holdings of the mages guild.

And you just added another interior in a minute... you are insane :D The rescaling of the trees is more of a general thing we should do, not necessarily limited to the Druadach Highlands. The trees are one of the biggest factors that determine how big the landscape appears to you and consequently ho...

We don't have the towers from momo. Those stone ladders seemed like a weird thing to me and I had no concept for the interior of the towers in mind how they could be made to work well. I have also toyed with the idea of reworking those breton towers, as The Reach seems like a place of Reachmen rathe...

So here is my stab at an improved bush model. The current one has been a thorn in my side for a while. its so fucked up, with generated leave layers i was never able to get cleaned up properly and those awful generated twigs. The new version maybe needs to be a bit fuller, though. What do you think?...

Re: A list of factions

Where do you have that bit about the Hörme being the partisans of Potema and Uriel III from? If we can assume that they were vassals of Queen Potema, that would open a new perspective, indeed. It would make relations to the discussed vampire clan very much possible, at least. Would it be reasonable ...

There are some gold coast cave pieces, yes. I think that people get to see the vanilla cave pieces in abundancy in vanilla and TR, already. No point in keeping using them. Also, take care to download the latest version of PC_Data from here: http://project-tamriel.com/viewtopic.php?f=103&t=96&quo...

How about making the Oprichniki (the elite guard of king thian) vampires? The Oprichniki could be the same or successors of the vampires that sided with Queen Potema against the Empire. Either these vampires remained in the service of the successors of Queen Potema or Thian himself or one of his pre...

I have worked on the cells -108,12 to -111,12 and -108,13 to -111,13 and left the others almost untouched. What I tried to do in these cells is making the regional concept of the Druadach Highlands a bit more compact, open and flatter. In the above cells I have deleted all free-standing big blank ro...

I'm happy how similar these are to the urns I made for the colovian barrows at P:C, that are supposedly influenced by Nord culture.

This looks fantastic, like your widow kiss container plant (even its old version, which also looked great). For Skyrim I think the plants need to look a bit more basic indeed or at least more desaturated. The tremble weed is an example for a plant that features a weird shape but a more desaturated c...

Everytime I come across Sky_Flora_Bush_Leaves_01_01, I see some oddities I would like to deal with anyway, but it should remain a main bush, as I still like its overall shape and character. Making a second variant is well possible, too, I think. I'm not 100% against 04_127. There are probably some i...

Fortresses of the First Empire

Now with the possible ruin types in the eastern Reach in question, I realised that it makes no sense that we have so many Direnni ruins, while there are nearly no leftovers of the first empire of the nords, the climax of nordic power that preceded the Direnni hegemony and at which most of Highrock (...
