I'm quite a crappy texture artist, to be honest... But how about this one then?

Re: Jiub's Projects

Whoops! Figures I would screw up. Try this one: PC_A_WWGuardCuirass_C3.nif The oval shield is cool, would you be willing to model it up for me? I'll take care of texturing if you can get it modeled and UV mapped Sure! A soon as I finish the barrow chests. EDIT: Actually, if you are up for it, could ...

Re: Jiub's Projects

Okay, so working on getting these in-game and the klibanion cuirass isn't actually quite ready to go - would somebody have time to make some model edits for me? I need the sleeves separated from each other so I can make left and right pauldrons, and right now they're occupying the chest slot. I hop...

Re: Jiub's Projects

Looks really nice! Haven't made up my mind on how I want to do shields yet, right now my thought is to just give them the vanilla Imperial shield and not sweat it, but I'd be curious to hear other peoples' opinions. Round or oval parma shields, maybe? [hsimg=]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c...

Basic chest shape - inspired in part by the test chests in ToddTest cell and it part by old Roman arks.

Re: Kvatch Locations

Agreed! We better make some bitching statue of Akatosh for the temple :D Considering Miscarcand, doesn't it play an important role in Oblivion's main quest? For the sake of continuity, how should we approach this? Make some of the areas inaccessible, kinda like Anudnabia in vanila MW, but at the sam...

Amazing write-up, Infragris! I love how this all eventually ties into Ormellius Goldwine who then drops ded in Oblivion, taking care of all the loose ends.

Re: Creatures Set: Second Empire Ruins

Made a small showcase of how NPC wraiths could work. For testing go to (or just coc) Caldera. The Wraith wears the equivalent of Iron armor, but with much much worse durability and lower monetary value. At the same time it has very high Armor skills, so its AR is very high at start but, since all th...

Re: Creatures Set: Second Empire Ruins

Sad news - I tested it in the game and it seems Disintegrate Armor doesn't work on creatures, period - even those with a shield. So, looks like there goes the idea. Nevermind then.

Re: Creatures Set: Second Empire Ruins

I really dislike that kind of lore copout with the souls: there's no way of communicating it elegantly to the players. And even if armor was useless, it would still burden the player with a full set of armor every time they fight this frequently occurring enemy. Even worse, if they didn't use a dis...

Re: Creatures Set: Second Empire Ruins

Don't skeletons use shields? If we build the creature around the skeleton's animation ... skeleton, shouldn't it work fine? I don't know much about this stuff, honestly. I would prefer these to be set up as creatures, both for the soultrap stuff and for balance reasons: killing one of these wraiths...

Re: Creatures Set: Second Empire Ruins

Maybe make it work similiar to the Grahl - a disintegrate armor effect will remove some of the abilities the creature would possess (possibly including a fortify health effect)? This would work, but would make it possible to remove these abilities with Disintegrate Armor 1 pts on target - a VERY ch...

Re: Creatures Set: Second Empire Ruins

May I propose an idea on Hollowed Wraiths? How about we make their armor condition their actual HP pool? What I mean is, the Player would defeat them not by direct health damage, but by breaking their armor instead. This way, Disintegrate spells would work the best against those animated armors. Or ...

Re: Creatures Set: Ayleid

Nice ideas! I especially like the Redeemed Envoy variation, it's really intesesting. I would advise not to goo overboard with many Redeemed Servant variations, I think having 3 of them would be the best. Also, how about constructs like Ayleid Statues (like those in Oblivion), I remember you proposed...

Re: Door chimes, wrong door orientation

I love the idea of bells/chimes on the stores, personally :) Regarding flipping the door models, my only concern is how much work would be involved with revamping the already completed interiors - we should definitely fix it for Anvil and beyond though. Thanks! I think a simple tes3cmd script would...

Door chimes, wrong door orientation

I recently made a mod that adds door chimes to imperial stores and taverns on Vvardenfell and was wondering if perhaps we could roll this one into P:C too? I think it would fit Cyrodiilic mercantile-oriented culture really well. Currently it works through replacing certain door variants with ones th...

Quick question - would anyone object if I rename Dark Welkynd stones to Loria Stones (darkness stones)? Just so they would actually have their own, not derived name, just like Welkynd and Varla ones.

Can you see if the text says anything else about animal life or vegetation in weird-Cyrod (gilas)? Just checked and they are: Outside the city are numerous nomad camps. The nomads, the Kothringi, are oldhumans, wiry and mostly naked, shoulder straps hanging with feathers and animal skins. Nearly all of them carry spears or long, curved knives. A few carry handcandles, but awkwardly. The Kothring...

Re: Cyrodiil Creatures

I always imagined Coutals looking like those wolf-hounds from Dishonored: hyena-like wolves with an almost crocodile-like face structure. We can take some inspiration from the old concept in fur patterns etc, but it shouldn't look too cat-like. According to their origin text, Kothringi nomads used ...

Re: Ayleid Artifacts, Items, Clothing, and Clutter

Speaking of Welkynd/Varla dropping/lighting/etc, there is another problem with swapping between different object types in/out of inventory - the stolen flags don't carry over! You can steal some collector's stone and it won't be confiscated on arrest. So I'm thinking, why don't we employ the cleanup...
