Re: Map Discussion

The general consensus was that the warp in the west is that it obliterated a lot of the smaller lesser known cities. Leaving the main three. Daggerfall, Wayrest and Orsinium. TES II was massive, most of the locations were the size of Daggerfall city. The settlements that were decimated, were left as...

Tier method? First I've heard of it.

There isn't a map on the forums yet. But I do have some laying around. I will try and get the map uploaded later.

I think I'm still missing your point. Are you saying mithril shouldn't appear in High Rock?

Re: Architecture Planning

I can't remember why SHotN were making Dragonstar. But as far as I'm concerned, Jehanna is most definitely in High Rock. So will be included in this mod. We were basically going along the same lines for cemeteries and crypts as you have suggested. So they will most definitely have their own tileset....

Re: Armour Sets

The reason Silver armour was declared not in Morrowind in our list, is because its mainly unique and not a complete set. I personally would like to have a unique set for HR. With regards to Mithril. I don't see a need to invent new lore. Also, what does it being derivative of Tolkien have to do with...

Re: Books Master List

Ah OK. What are the permissions for using the TR stuff?

Would need to have them separate in the HR data files anyway, to avoid being dependant on the TR_Data

Weapon Sets

From old old forum. Still very much relevant. Want to get a good idea of what sets of weapons we need. I'd like to work on the same sort of basis as Morrowind did, mixed with how Daggerfall did. As in, one type of weapon from each material/type of weapon. Daggerfall weapon types by material Iron - I...

Armour Sets

From old old forum. Below are the armour sets listed in Daggerfall the game. In brackets are the colours that the armour appears in the inventory. Leather (Brown) - found in Morrowind Chain (Textured Silver) - Imperial Chain Armour found in Morrowind Iron (Dark Grey) - found in Morrowind Steel (Medi...

Books Master List

A list of required books and guides needs to be maintained. WH-Reaper suggested on the previous forum about using an existing mod for Morrowind which adds a tonne of books from Daggerfall. We would probably need permission from the original author to straight up merge it. Also, not sure about the le...

Re: Architecture Planning

Apologies Jet123. I completely missed your post. Been a bit busy lately. There has been talk of stuff related to development of the mod previously. A lot of it just hasn't been discussed yet or re-entered into the new forum. I really like your write up for Wayrest. It is most definitely what we are ...

Re: OpenMW and SHotN

The 4GB patch has nothing to do with the Skyrim plug-in or datafile, it only modifies the vanilla .exe

Also, please don't attach every image. Use a service like imgur.

The 4GB patch isn specific to Morrowind at all. It's just a generic patch program.

Re: Organization and Planning for the Future

*SNIP* Is this landmass already developed? Not in the sense of it having models but is the land elevated above sea level in the shape of the province? I know P:C has their entire landmass shaped already but SHOTN only has the Reach landmass elevated above water level. One other question, are you gu...

Re: Cs- VS Ingame- Field of view

If i remember correctly. The editor uses an FOV of 75. I may be wrong, but i know its low, might even be 60. The render window doesn't have a fixed resolution/aspect ratio either. The CS doesn't have a high level of anisotropic filtering either, as you can tell from the ground textures. But that's a...

Re: OpenMW and SHotN

Berandas, I'm using Data 21 and the 4 GB patch . I'm still getting a crash. I'm using the official 0.35.0 version and not any of the nightlies. Would you link me to the Nightly thread? Maybe they fixed whatever was causing this. Thanks. You have no need to use the 4GB patch on OpenMW. Wouldn't surp...

Terrain Objects

OK, as some of you from the IRC might know, I have been working on a few terrain objects. These were mainly as a blender learning exercise. Picked it up quite easily once I got a grip on the controls and after picking Lord Berandas's and Muspila's brains a few times. Anyway. The models. I modelled a...
