Re: Gold Coast Exterior: GC_01 [Unclaimed]

Also I'm decluttering some of the other stalls a little bit - some of them have like 20+ items per merchant which seems excessive. The silverware by the clothier and alchemist is a good example, they have like 6 cups, probably close to 10 bowls, 6 or so candelabras, and 4 vases (going off memory her...

Imgur album: https://imgur.com/a/91GzV Other small changes besides the market stalls: Added signage for the Fighters and Mages Guildhalls, and banners to the main gate. EDIT: if y'all are cool I'll keep working on this, I want to add the rest of the shop signs, some lanterns/lights, and maybe a coup...

I'll take this over for a few days to clutter up the merchant stalls if nobody objects.

Re: Jiub's Projects

I can send you the cuirass if you wouldn't mind starting on it - it'll need to have the details pulled out of the mesh so that they look less painted on, and the arms, neck, and waist need to be closed off as always. This armor should look pretty primitive and bulky, it's a little too streamlined ri...

Re: Jiub's Projects

Good call, you actually read my mind lol. I don't know that I want to do the trident just by itself, but I have a few ideas I'll play around with. I'll add Dethagrad to the list, as well as Mhorlagrad actually, and then I'll whip up additional helmet variants for them in whatever color scheme I end ...

Re: Jiub's Projects

http://i.imgur.com/4aU4MiZ.png Update on the county flags - banners and flags for the baronies are still in the works. I played around a lot with motifs for Chorrol before deciding there wasn't anything I liked better than the original one - so I traced over it (no vanilla Oblivion assets used) and...

Re: Asset Roadmap: Armor Styles

The ones I linked are higher quality tbh - Moranar remodeled the arms and legs to be less lumpy, the ones in TR data have the diaper greaves like vanilla. At some point, we really need to figure out what we're doing when it comes to shared assets - it frustrates me that we can't get certain assets o...

Re: Asset Roadmap: Armor Styles

Has the silver armor been added to data anywhere? If not, I'll claim that, it should a pretty simple matter of renaming Alaisiagae/Moranar's mesh resources and creating a plugin.

Re: Common Plants and Ingredients

Performance-wise, there was no impact for me - but my performance isn't great in modded Morrowind anyhow, I only get about 10 FPS. Here's the files if somebody else wants to test it. @Roerich - I'd think they'd need different textures for Skyrim just because how different the climate is between the ...

Re: Common Plants and Ingredients

Found a great resource by Melchior Dahrk, so I'm playing around with replacing the oaks in Data with some that are more up to par with our other trees - in these screens, they're using placeholder textures from vurt but I can play around with some other options. Oh, and the footprint is almost ident...

Update:

So, he's pretty much working in-game now, the only problem I'm running into is getting the frost atronach particle effect to shut off after he dies - it kind of spoils the effect of seeing him fade into a pool of ectoplasm :P

Re: Common Plants and Ingredients

Wow, the leaf textures on that are atrocious - it looks like whoever made it had a single leaf texture and just went hog wild clone stamping it. Can I fix that, and in the process maybe not make them oak trees anymore? Oaks are kind of an odd choice for the very Mediterranean climate of the Gold Coa...

Re: Common Plants and Ingredients

Random question - how do oaks fit into our ecology? I'm trying to think of ways that the fig tree could be brought into our world (epecially since its silhouette IRL is fairly similar to our olive trees & the vanilla comberry bush), and one thing that I was playing with was oak leaves - would modeli...

Yeah it's based on Melchior's - way back in the day she was based on the vanilla spriggan, but people were complaining about how low poly it was so I swapped it out. We can certainly switch back.

So, I know we're gonna be tweaking names and textures, but in terms of the IRL crops that Colovians are basically gonna be growing, do I have this right? Food Crops ======== Corn (Indureta) Chili Peppers (Piena Peppers) Squash (Poppad Gourd) Grain (Ironrye) Tomatoes (Lykovine) Olives Figs Grapes App...

Re: Common Plants and Ingredients

Cool, have fun :) I made textures for the leaves, stem, and gourd, should be easy to apply to whatever meshes we end up going with. The textures are 256x256 & 256x128. At some point as we update our flora, I'd like to downscale a lot of the textures, 1024x1024 & 512x512 dimensions are pretty excessi...

Re: Common Plants and Ingredients

Per the earlier convo in the Discord, here are 4 options for the Poppad texture (haven't touched the stem yet, and ignore the ugliness of the accursed pumpkin mesh):

What do you think? I'm leaning toward either yellow or white, personally.
