Dungeon Tileset: Reman Forts (Imperial Ruins)

This is the least fully developed tileset we have right now, and it suffers from multiple critical issues which prevent it from being used optimally. The odd size of the set makes it awkward and difficult to use. The exterior set is generally quite alright, albeit a little counter-intuitive in usage...

Dungeon Tileset: Imperial Crypts

The crypt tileset is a smaller than usual set with only a limited application - for now. In my opinion, crypts could be used more freely across the country, or near prominent settlements and other locations. There are, however, a number of problems with the set that need to be solved first: The set ...

Dungeon Tileset: Imperial Fort Ruins

Imperial fort ruins are kind of a special case, since they are a variant of an existing settlement tileset used as a dungeon/ruin. For the most part, normal interior clutter and assets can be used. There are, however, some aspects in which this set could be improved.: The number and variations of ru...

Dungeon Tileset: Ayleid Ruins

A lot has been said about the Ayleid ruins that does not need to be repeated here. As it stands, the set is more or less usable, although some additions are sorely needed: A large trove of interior and exterior pieces has been donated by the Beyond: Skyrim project, which fit our native set more or l...

Dungeon Tileset: Colovian Barrows

The Colovian barrow set is arguably our most developed and feature-complete dungeon tileset. It has clutter, at least one unique associated creature type, and its own furniture containers. The set itself is interesting and quite different from most Morrowind interior tilesets, although it requires s...

Re: Gold Coast Exterior: GC_00 [Infragris]

Okay, here's the latest version of this file. Besides a lot of bugfixing and the replacement of deprecated flora, the most important aspects of this are the addition of the highway starting from Brina Cross, some extra farmland south of that town, and edits to the Fort Strand mining pit. I consider ...

Re: Dragonstar: Yoku Crypt (Sky_iRe_Ds37)

Hmmm. Some of the design notes for the underground of Sutch called for the use of unique pillar and wall meshes, combined with a cave tileset. If you can hold out for those, it would likely be the best choice for this interior.

Re: Dragonstar: Yoku Crypt (Sky_iRe_Ds37)

The imperial crypt? Well, not much to do about it, and the set does feel somewhat generic. By all means use it.

Re: Common Plants and Ingredients

That looks interesting. I don't think we have to adhere to the real-life look of a fig tree, as long as the reimagined specimen fits the climate and aesthetic. Not sure about replacing Chorrol's oak tree with it, though: the fact that it's an oak tree is kinda iconic. It may have been planted by ear...

Came across this recently, I think a southern Italian style like in Matera might be an interesting compromise between the overt medievalist and the more outlandish inspiration sources.

Re: Common Plants and Ingredients

Whatever you feel like, of course. I have an olive ingredient mesh somewhere, but no texture - black olives preferably, to match the trees. Figs, peppers and pomegranates would be nice, and nobody is working on them as far as I know. How about the spices? In terms of meshes, these should be pretty s...

Re: Jiub's Projects

Hmm. I just had another look at the spriggan and I have to say that the model is very large and perhaps overly detailed - it is by far the biggest file in data, at the moment. We might have to reduce detail on the body mesh, or replace it with the vanilla version. Is this based on melchior's work?

Re: Bad Flora Assets

errr, sorry that was a mistake. The tomato plant is a very fine model, just the concept was not really useful to Cyrodiil (see the common flora and ingredient discussion for details). It does not really belong on this list. At the moment, I'd day the grapevines, tobacco, and lavender models are actu...

Re: Common Plants and Ingredients

Pretty much, yes. Ironrye is meant as a staple food crop, since it is used to make colovian bread. Besides rye, spike rice is also common (it is currently the most used food crop for fields around the gold coast). I think onions and blackberries are no problem (in fact, I think both are used in some...

Re: Jiub's Projects

Great hustle. One thing I've noticed on the spriggan model is that the leaf alpha planes around the collar have some flickering and alpha fighting going on. Best way to prevent this is to set the NiAlphaProperty flags to 4845 in nifskope (they were currently on 237). Apparently, this is the best alp...

Re: Common Plants and Ingredients

Honestly, I like the blue/green ones more. Maybe we can make a couple of (regional?) variations. The whole look probably changes depending on the model, too.

How about a gradient approach? Say you take the blue one, and halfway up it patchily transitions into the white or the green one?

Quick summary of my thoughts on the original topic: New flora containers I would like to introduce, in order of priority: Olives : pretty basic black olives, perfect since we already have the olive trees in place. We would just have to replace them with container versions (tedious but doable). Ironr...

Some more theology. A closer look at the way the Divines interface with mortals (according to mortals, at least) written by a Primate of the Cult of Akatosh. The Alessian Doctrines

The infamous edicts of Marukh. A very rare and expensive, possibly unique book. I'm planning to add some fragmentary versions for wider use. I've decided to go for an indecipherable bookart version, since nothing we can write would really do them justice. THE ALESSIAN DOCTRINES [This appears to be a...
