Privileges of the Dead

A book defending the Imperial permissive attitude towards necromancy, which explains the difference between normal, mannimarcean necromancy and the native Nibenese practice. The author is a member of a prominent battlemage family from Mir Corrup. Privileges of the Dead by Sato Voria Many, of late, h...

The Law and the Will

Some more theology. A closer look at the way the Divines interface with mortals (according to mortals, at least) written by a Primate of the Cult of Akatosh. The Law and the Will by Primate Denarius The Divines have made the world, and, for a large part, they are the world, freely giving their blood...

The Alessian Doctrines

The infamous edicts of Marukh. A very rare and expensive, possibly unique book. I'm planning to add some fragmentary versions for wider use. I've decided to go for an indecipherable bookart version, since nothing we can write would really do them justice. THE ALESSIAN DOCTRINES [This appears to be a...

The Book of Circles

Traditional Redguard text. Probably useful for Sutch. Please disregard the ESO book of the same name. Bookart was unceremoniously stolen from Lady Nerevar. THE BOOK OF CIRCLES [This treatise on swordsmanship, supposedly penned by Frandar Hunding himself, is considered a holy text by the Redguards. T...

Generic Books

Several kinds of "generic" books to be used in offices, libraries, studies, and the like. This should cut down on a majority of otherwise quite useless interior clutter. Most of these books are worth next to nothing, excepting the letters of credit which can be used as an alternate monetary reward. ...

Codified Law

Miscellaneous law codex. An common, if enigmatic book to be used in official settings. Codified Law [The Alessian Doctrines, written by the prophet Marukh, were the founding edicts of the so-called Alessian Order. Though considered heretic and blasphemous today, marukhati principles such as "All are...

Re: Cyrodiil Creatures

Yeah, I think we've reached critical mass for new creature proposals. I think we can continue with a strong Colovian focus for now: we have a general idea of Nibenese fauna, which we can revisit later on. I like the idea of Nereids as a Niben-based alternative for Spriggans - fits well with the rive...

Nibenese Drugs

Thyrwort : a thick, fibrous plant common in the northeastern Nibenay. The root is cut into slices which are dried into leathery disks, usually stringed together with twine. When chewed, it acts as a potent stimulant. It is normal to see laborers, dockworkers, soldiers, etc. in the Nibenay chewing o...

Re: Cyrodiil Creatures

Looking good, I like the latest set of animal concepts too. The coutal is pretty much how I imagined it as well. I like this ant-eater theme for some of the domesticated creatures of the Nibenay; iirc there was a concept of Nibenese landowners cultivating termite hills for their cattle.

Re: Jiub's Projects

I was thinking of editing the dragonfly swarm model from Beth's bitter coast upgrade, to make placeable "moth cloud" activators. These textures could easily be transplaced to that model. A single moth as a creature doesn't really make a lot of sense, tbh (excluding the giant moth idea, of course)

That looks like a good source of inspiration. Are you going to base the model on the Anvil houses?

Guidelines for Literature

Formatting Text The absolute character limit on a text is 64,000. However, the realistic length of a book is limited by practical considerations. Most books should be no longer than 4,000 to 6,000 characters. Exceptionally, a book can be longer than 10,000 characters, though it is advisable to spli...

Re: Design Notes: The City of Sutch

It's not so much a Redguard city that 's controlled by Cyrodiil as a city that changed hands between Hammerfell and Cyrodiil a dozen times or more. In fact, it has been under the control of Cyrodiil for the last hundred years. Any problems with the use of the anvil tileset can be explained away as c...

Re: [Faction] The Colo-Nordic Lords

I like Graf. I not sure about the Free Estates being joinable - I might have written it, but I write a lot of shit I later forget about. Currently, I think the Free Estates would function best in a similar way to the Camonna Tong-Hlaalu connection. The current idea for the Colo-Nords is that the pla...

Three pairs of boots isn't a big data bloat, though, and I would like to use these armor sets as generic armor in lvld lists as well. I dunno - I think it could work.

Re: [Faction] The Colo-Nordic Lords

Doesn't czar originate in the title of Emperor/Caesar? It's a bit too on-the-nose, imho. Also, i don't think we've used any straight-up russian influences for the colovians, most of their cultural grounds came from more eastern Mediterranean sources. I sort of stumble over the use of -z, which is a ...

Count-Seneschal 9. Scion of Colovia 10. Duke of Colovia I like most of these names though - they coul...

Re: Cults and Religions of Cyrodiil

I do not consider the quotes from the PGE relevant because, as I said before, the specific parts talking about this are a history lesson. They talk about the situation during the Marukhati theocracy, nearly four thousand years ago. There is no reason to believe the situation has not changed drastica...
