Re: Managing exterior progress

After some talk on Discord, it seems like people generally agree on handling further exteriors in organized sections. And since it's tiresome to write about x- and y-coordinates in letters, I figured it'd be best to step forth with an initial proposal for sections based on current and close-future e...

Re: Managing exterior progress

My last exterior claim has a lot of interference with a number of claims across the board, including Skyrim_Main. There also tend to be conflicts or edits with neighbouring claims with other exterior claims being worked on. In any case it's simpler to resolve all of these conflicts in a single file....

Managing exterior progress

So recently it was decided that we won't be putting finished exteriors into Sky_Main anymore. A problem about it is that there is still a heavy interdependence of claims and that it would be handier to have some kind of collective file, where claims can be merged and borders and errors fixed. To nam...

Re: Druadach Highlands (Sky_xRe_08) [Worsas]

After another day of power-modding, I'll call this done. Please note that there is no border hurdle at this point. I'm fine, if someone else is going (or not going) to edit one in later. By intention, I have not put effort into making major further points of interest, since the area around this clai...

What about the fog activators? They seem a bit odd for a tavern interior.

Almost done. What remains is doing the grass and linking interiors that were finished for the canyon village.

that would be one possibility. Alternatively, I can handle the cell removal with the help of the quick editor, too. However you like.

Re: Midkarth County (Sky_xRe_09) [berry]

Thanks, I had cut them from the rest exteriors file already. Are those any different?
Nope, those are just the plain cells cut from the RestExteriors file. I had them, because I was considering taking this claim some time ago. Now I'm working on 08 instead. :D

Re: Midkarth County (Sky_xRe_09) [berry]

Hey berry, after claiming that last bit of druadach highlands and skimming through our old notes, I remember again that we had the great intent of primarily distinguishing the grassy druadach highlands from the midkarth county by making the former a distinctive bushland, while the latter should rema...

Re: Permission Requests

The wormmouth is made from scratch. It does not use anything from the kagouti or alit.

The sload is from a modder resource. I don't know for sure what it is based on.

Re: Permission Requests

The readme of Tamriel Data says that you have to ask the respective modders, whenever you want to rip assets from the data files rather than using the whole data files as-is. Strictly speaking we are already in an ambigious situation with how all these assets are made accessible to other modders in ...

I don't really know, if I fully want to claim this interior, but I created a basic shell, in accordance to interior dimensions given in stirk cells. It's quite big, I must say.

Re: Region Planning: Solitude Forest

The result of some discussion on discord: We realised that the forest looks very samey in most parts. Insofar it is untypical for a region and a landscape in this gameworld and generally runs into the danger of being monotonous. However, this current shape of the forest also means that it's easy to ...
